egg retreval
hey ladies i was wondering how long after trigger was your retreval? Whatn cd was your retreval? After how many days of stims was your retreval? I need help to see if i can do ivf in dec or if i have to wait for about 6 months
The trigger shot is at night time and the retreival is two days after in the morning or so. That has been my case for the last IVF I have done.
I was feeling fine after my retrieval. After the transfer, my MD wanted me on bedrest for the remainder of that day, PLUS the following 2 days. I decided to keep myself on bedrest for another 2 days after that. I go for my 1st blood test tomorrow. Been testing daily with HPTs since last Saturday. All negative, so going into having this blood drawn with a heavy heart.
I started stims on February 4th triggered 12th retrieval 14th. they were hoping to stim me an extra day or 2 but estradiol was high.

Honestly, I lost track of what CD I was on. I simply followed the calendar my DR gave me and went from there. What I can tell you is that I was on stims for at least 10 days (Follistim/Menapur) Prior to going on stims, they did have me on BCP for about 3 weeks or so. I was also injecting Lupron for about 3 weeks or so. Once my follicles were "ready" I had HCG at 10 p.m. and went in for E/R roughly about 36 hours later. From my experience, I can tell you I needed the extra bed rest for E/R because it leaves you feeling sore. E/T was so much easier, but nonetheless DR orders bed rest for at least 3-4 days. I was triggered on 11/9 and had my retrieval on 11/11, then a 5 day transfer on 11/16.
