Thank you both for your comments and baby dust to everyone that needs it! I guess I am just confused as to why he would go with ovulation induction meds when I do ovulate fairly well on my own. I only have my right ovary and tube. I have PCOS and Endo and am at high risk for ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. Had a moderate case when on clomid before and ended up in a hospitalization. I am hoping that the combination will help me get pregnant and stay pregnant but am unsure if it will. I go in next friday to see how many follies I have but am worried that I may ovulate before the u/s. *sigh* I worry too much I think. lol
I don't know about Repronex but I can say clomid was successful for me. We conceived our son after only 3 months on clomid. We tried for 5 months this year with no luck on clomid. If the combo works for you please let us know. Good luck!!!
First of all, I want to wish you the best of luck this cycle. I never took Repronex so I am definitely not an expert. However, I do teach statistics :) So, with clomid chances of multiples are 5-10% of all deliveries. However, most people who take clomid do not achieve pregnancy; success (i.e. getting pregnant per cycle) is also about 10% per cycle. So probability of multiples is at most 1% for all women who take clomid. I am sure that similar statistics apply to Repronex. Even if 50% of pregnancies are multiples, what is the probability of achieving pregnancy to begin with? As I said, i am not an expert and had no success with clomid. If Repronex increases your chances of getting pregnant you should go for it and don't worry about multiples. SSBD!
