Tubal Reversal

I have had my tubes tied about 8 years ago and my current husband and I are thinking about having tubes reversed. I am very nervous that after the surgery we still won't be able to have a baby. We have had my husband tested already and he is fine. I know some women who have had tubes reversed and then their tubes were blocked after surgery. I would like to know how many women have had a successful surgery.

I'm 25 and had my tubes clipped and tied but don't recall if they were burnt 6 years ago. I already had one child and then had twins and thought I was done, then life took a complete turn and I ended up getting a divorce and 3 years later meeting a wondeful man who had no children. he would like one child and i would love to have one with him if it's at all possible? Can anyone help me with information?

I am 32y old. I just had a reversal in May '08. I was lucky enough that my insurance covered the entire thing w/ no out of pocket expenses at all. As far as the surgery.....it was very painful and took weeks to recover. My husband and I r actively "trying" now. I should have ovulated last week. I have been throwing up all week this week and very tired. I am hopeful that this is it! but worry about etopic. Good luck!! i would do it again if i had too!

I am located in Texas and there is a clinic that will do the reversal for $6k but that's a lot of money. I have done some research and because of the way I had the tubal ligation done my chances for pregnancy after reversal are pretty good.

I had a tubal reversal March 15, 2007, I am now 31w4d pregnant! I had gotten pregnant right away after the surgery but it was too soon and it ended up being in the tube. But then we got pregnant again in August and all seems to be great. Where are you located? I live in Ohio but had to go to Kentucky because I couldn't find a doctor around here that would do it less then $25,000.00. There we got it done for around 7000.00 That's everything included and even if you don't get pregnant after the reversal, they will work with you to guarantee that you WILL have a baby, even if they have to do IVF as many times as you want to have babies! It's a very good deal! Just send me a message if you want the name of the doctor or any other questions!
