Hello,
After Mirena removal your body takes time to adjust to the changing hormone levels. There may be spotting even when the woman is not on her period for the first few months after the IUD is removed. This is because the body is getting used to the change in hormones. It can take one or more months for the period to normalize after Mirena removal. After Mirena removal the menstrual cycle will return or it may go back to the way it was before the IUD was placed. It can delay fertility once it is removed but it does not inhibit it altogether. You may take some time to conceive. I hope it helps. Do write to us again.
Best of luck and regards!
