Unexplained Infertility

Is there such a thing as Unexplained Infertility? or is that just the label after all the tests come out normal?
We've been trying for 4 years with no luck. All tests are a--ok.
I think maybe my body just doesn't know how to conceive- and the docs are stumped.

I was also diagnosed with unexplained infertility.After every test possible came back normal for both of us.The only problem i have is i only have 1 fallopian tube and i am 41 but other than that everything is ok.Im wanting to know more about maca root and vitex though?SSBD to you all xx

Vitex/B6 Fertility Recipe

Our community has used variations of these herbal fertility recipes for years. They use vitex which has been billed as 'the natural Clomid' for quite awhile. Vitex/Chasteberry can be found at health food stores and other places that sell supplements. You can also order it along with B6 through Drugstore.com and help our community (see below). Take Whole Cycle:
1 Prenatal Vitamin icon Daily
1 Baby Aspirinicon Daily
1 50 mg B6 Vitamin icon in the morning.
1 B-50 Complex icon in the evening


From Cycle Day 1 until Ovulation:
Two Vitex, 500mg Capsulesicon in the morning
Two Vitex, 500mg Capsulesicon in the evening


From End of Period until Ovulation:

Robitussin:icon:full strength as if you have a bad cough. Label Directions: adults and children 12 years and over, 2-4 teaspoonsfuls every 4 hours. Do not take more than 6 doses in any 24 hour period. Consult label for accuracy, warnings, and ingredients. Active ingredient: Guaifenesin ONLY, do NOT get any type with other active ingredients or letters such as Robitussin DM or Robitussin CF.

You can read about maca root and vitex, but they are great additions to helping support ovulation in women who are having trouble conceiving.

We have been trying to conceive since 1.5 years now and all tests have come out normal...one of the REs we visited said we have unexplained infertility and suggested IVF..but we visited a new RE recently who has suggested a few more tests and IUI ...he did mention that he would want to do a few "Genetic tests"to rule that out as well..
so far, we re trying to take it one step at a time..

Unfortunately we have tried multiple docs, tests, treatments (western and eastern).
We're at the "I guess we're not meant to be parents" point.
Cant afford the IVF or IUI, and aren't really wanting to force the issue with the meds and hormones.

Unexplained infertility is exactly what we were diagnosed with as neither of us had any detected issues. After clomid and 4 rounds of IUI, we went for IVF and now I'm 9 weeks pregnant. I guess there isn't an explanation for everything... have you been trying 4 years with the hep of a doctor or just on your own?  Also, if you're not entirely comfortable with the docs diagnosis, you should get a second opinion. We switched docs a few months in and were very happy and far more comfortable with the second RE.  Good luck to you!

There is such a thing, my friend Marla was told the same thing when she was 33.  She tried for over a year, took all the test and everything came back fine for her and her husband. She saw RE dr. and began Clomid and after 3 IUIs got pregnant with her son.   She decided to start trying again when he was 1.5 years and did not get pregnant after months of trying.  She went back to RE dr. got on Clomid had one IUI and got pregnant on first try this time!  She is now 36, and so far so good for her!

Many of us are taking macaroot and vitex to help.  Also, I found this great natural recipe on the web using baby aspirin and vitamin b if you are interested, let me know.
