Long Luteal Phase? when should I test?

Hi everyone! I'm just starting to TTC, and only started charting my temperatures last month. I am using 3 different basal body temp/symptom charting apps, one says I ovulated on the 13th, one the 17th and the other keeps switching between the 14th and 18th. I think I ovulated on the 13th though because of ovulation pain.

Anyway, my cycles are usually between 21-31 days (usually 28 days though), but because I just started BBT charting I don't know my usual Luteal phase. According to the apps I'm  anywhere between 14-19 days of high temperatures following ovulation. I guess I just want to know when I should test, I want to make sure my period isn't coming before I test and I don't want to waste a test if I'm going to get my period tomorrow. What is your usual Luteal phase? How long should the high temps continue before I test?

P.s. today is cycle day 32, so I'm 1 day later than the longest cycle length within the past 6 months.

For anyone following this, my husband and I got impatient waiting, so we tested and got our positive this morning! A very dark positive that showed in less than a minute!
