We are ttc after stopping bc using ovulations kits?

Hello Everyone,  I am new to the site but I was wondering if anyone has come across the following.  My fiancee & I after several months of discussion and forward planning decided to stop taking BC at the start of December 2009, I stopped at the end of a pack and have my usual monthly flow then went without.  Then in on Jan 1st & 2nd we used Ovulation sticks which detected that I was ovulating, I am now overdue by 3 days (I have always been very regular) but several pregnancy tests have proven negative..... any ideas?  This would be our first child, but my partner has a lovely 10 yr old, which was conceived acidentally so we know he is very fertile....  Any advise or incite would be greatly welcomed!!  Thanks Ladies :)

Well it seems that I'm actually on a 32 day cycle... Has anyone else used Evening Primrose Oil tablets, as I've read that they aid your cervial mucus, making it more sperm friendly!!  I've just started taking them, but be warned there like horse tablets!  Also, theres an app for Iphones called "period tracker" thats well worth a look!!  Good luck all, and lots of baby dust :)

It takes some time for your cycles to regulate after stopping birth control.  Your cycle is probably just regulating itself from the change in hormones.  You may be late a few times before you get back to a more regular cycle.  If you don't get your period in the next few days, I would test again.
