When are you most fertile?

My doctor said 11 days after my cycle ends. But all my cycle apps all give me a wide window. I know it is not that wide only like a 24 hour window. After 3 years TTC, I wish I knew more. But my insurance won't cover infertility treatments. I do know I suffer from PCOS, but I am hopeful. So I just keep trying and testing monthly hoping this will change. Any advice or tips are greatly appreciated.

It would depends on how long your cycle normally lasts - without using ovulation predictor kits it is very hard to pinpoint ovulation.

For example, if you have a regular 28 day cycle then you would be most fertile between days 11-16 and you would likely ovulate in between that (about day 14). However, not everyone's cycles run as they should and sometimes we ovulate earlier or later than normal. SO without ovulation kits, it is hard to determine. Mid cycle is usually when we ovulate and you are fertile in the few days leading to ovulation since sperm can live inside for up to 2-3 days after sex.

If you don't already, I would start using ovulation predictor kits. These cna be bough very cheaply from Ebay or Amazon and start using them from around day 10 or 11 of your cycle. Once you get a positive, you would be likely to ovulate within about 12 hours of that positive.
