My ob told me to wait 3 months. I lost mine Feb 22,2012 due to cord around his neck. I have been wanting to get pregnant here lately. I couldnt bare to have another one so close to the death of mine. But im so ready for one now.  So it dont matter how far u wait. U will b most fertile up to 6 months after a birth of a child. But hope u good luck in ttc and im sorry about ur loss. GOOD LUCK

Thats strange they didn't say anything...mine was pushing birth control on Mr to use for 6 months.  I'm ready now but I have to do fertility treatment...So I still have to wait some time .....Hope to get pregnant this year but not replacing my Angel but I want my daughter to have a sibling and I'm getting old and clock is ticking

So sorry to hear about your lost.  Did you go to your ob for 6 week follow up?  What did she advise?
We lost our new born infant in January.  Less than a month old. Ob said at least 6 months but fertility doctor was less firm about that.  Depends on your body and how u have recovered.
