any first time clomid users or on clomid?

im 22 and have been trying for a baby with my boyfriend for 18months with no success. im on my first cycle of clomid as i dont i think i ovulate on my own from the results i got from my blood tests.  so i have been put on 50mg clomid to start with which i took days 2-6. this is all really scary for me and thought it would be nice to have a post were we can all support each other who are in the same situation. just i feel that i am so alone sometimes and just get really down about the whole thing, just would love to be a mum so bad like all of you on here, hopefully we can all share our stories. baby dust to everyone hope this post helps

I too am 22 years old and am ttc on clomid. I'm on my first cycle w it. Doc only gave me 25mg... But today is cd21 so I am going in today to get my progesterone level checked. We'll see how I did on 25mg. If it doesn't work I hope they up it next time to at least 50mg. We have been ttc for about 9 months. :/ Good luck to us all right!? :)

Yeah, not to be a downer, but it seems that many women suffer a miscarrriage on clomid. I hope we don't!! If I get pregnant, I've already decided that we won't tell anyone except immediate family because of the increased chances of having a miscarriage.

Hopefully though we have nothing to worry about. Good luck!

I took clomid for the first time last month (cycle day 3-7) because according to my bloodwork I don't ovulate either. Though I didn't get pregnant that month my progesterone levels showed that I ovulated and that's a start. I took my second round already finishing the last pill yesterday. We'll see what happens this time. Hopefully, a BFP.  I'm trying to relax a lot more this time around. I think trying something new and the trying for a baby so long got me worked up last cycle.

Good luck to you! It's a long rough journey for some of us...
