Just ovulated, so just starting 2ww.  Probably start Prometrium Saturday, but I really don't like taking it because it makes you feel pregnant! Then I wonder if I am or if it is the meds.  Besides that it really makes me sleepy too.  I did something different this month as well, talking Macaroot and Vitex.

Good luck Ladies, and keep writing updates!

Fingers cross for us both and all the ladies out there who are also on their 2WW...

Don't worry too much hun, just think positive and keep yourself busy with your gorgeous son...  Things happen for a reason, we have done our best and all we can do is wait for the good news and go from there...  We're both lucky to have concieved our first son naturally and it's a blessing...

I know what you mean about the costs, it's quite expensive even if we do get some money back from the Australian government so I guess it's not as bad as the UK... I think this is also going to be our first and last try of IVF, let's hope it works for us, keep our fingers cross... xxx  Baby Dust... Baby Dust... Come our way!!!

i am in england, guildford not far from london. I am new to this and not very good on my laptop so i apologise if you get messages all over the place or twice! we have only this one attempt at ivf as very expensive don't get any help as I'm 40yrs old so don't qualify for nhs.I too have small stitch like pains, but am really trying to be optimistic, the embryologist was negative but did say even good quality embies don't always take. are you on facebook? i am under melissa rainbird. anyway as the week goes on let me know if you get any other symtons or things to look out for, i know i am clutching at straws but people do feel sometimes that there is a difference with their body. best wishes melissax

Hi Mel,

I didn't have enough eggs either only had 3 and only 2 were fertilised, on day 3 one had split into 11 cells with little fragments and the other 1 had only 4 cells with a bit more fragments. We decided to only put the 1 embryo with the 11 cell in which is the better one out of the 2... We had ours fertilised by ICSI...

We are at the same 3 day after our 19 April transfer, I feel bloated and  been going to the toilet a lot more than normal, I do get little stitch here and there but not cramps... The only thing the clinic gave me to use twice daily are the pessaries. I have my blood test on Monday 3 May...  Fingers cross for us and my prayers are with you Mel...
I am in Sydney-Australia hence the delay in my response... Where abouts are you???

hello, I am on 2ww aswell and its hard as I feel very low with results so far. I had 3 day transfer on the 19th but embryo wasnt that good, i'm an older mum (40) only got 4 eggs 2 of which fertilised. Anyway only 1 went back, was 6 cell and moderatly fragmented.  want to be positive, have a stitch like pain but nothing much, just keep thinking how negative the embyologist sounded . we don't get beta tests have hpt given to us by clinic to take on day 14. I do have a digital test which i will probably take a little earlier, i know they are very reliable as expensive.do you know anyone who got positive test on say day 11 or 12 from a 6 cell embryo?
best of luck to you

hello lily, your situation is quite similar to mine, we have a 19th old conceived natuarly and i'm on my first cycle of ivf(we have been trying for nearly 14 mths and alfie was a miraculous conception, wasnt even having periods when he was conceived)
any way i'm 40 so an older mum, my eggs werent that good, only got 4 and 2 fertilised, one was 6cell but fragmented a bit, had 3 day transfer on monday 19th april and now on 2ww.dont feel that positive, have a bit pain like a stitch, was given hpt by the clinic, not given beta tests here, when are you taking yours, should i expect a result by day 11 or 12. thank you melissa
