IVF question - for the blastocyst stage

Okay, so we all are like this I know it.  I have a very specific question:

IF you only have male factor infertility and you have done IVF and they have made it to a 5 day transfer, how many did you put back in and how many babies did you have/sucesses?

We just found out we have 14 eggs that fertilized and although we will see how they are tomorrow but I feel happy about that, we may make it to 5 day transfer.  We are going to do 2 but wondering what our chances are for a sucess with it only being the male factor infertility.

No we get to wait until Monday for 5 day!  We still have 12 who are in the running for transfer and 6 ofthem are grade 1 or 2 out of 5 grades. 1 being the best.  I should hear more today, but we are transfering on Monday now!!! This is much better news than 1st IVF cycle, I swear it is because of acupuncture for me and DH.  Thanks for checking in!

It really depends on your age
I hate only tranferring two - but I am weird
I have only done blasts once

I had the same eggs and number fertilized as you did. Only 3 made it to blast though even though all were 9 were 8 cell day 3. We transferred 2 and are 34 weeks with a single baby. I think the extra embryo only gives a 10-15% more chance of getting pregnant. Depends on the quality of the blasts.

I've never done IVF, but I think they usually transfer two at the blastocyst stage. Best of luck!!!
