basal body temperature 97.79

I take my BBT at home every day.  I am at 8dpo and due for a period on Friday or Saturday.  I have a 24 day cycle.  But, my temps continue to say 97.79, 97.65, 97.70 throughout my cycle.  It doesn't go up to 98.0 at all after ovulation.  Is there a problem with me?  Doesn't seem to rise after ovulation.  Guess im not going to have a BFP again this month if its not going up.  I do, however, keep a fan on me at bedtime all year round...even in the winter months.  During the winter months, I just keep a couple of comforters on me, but i need that air on my face.  Do you think its possible that the fan causes my temp to stay a bit lower than it should?  I can feel AF coming!  Im having PMS symptoms already.  :(  Im so sad.

It is not individual temps that mean anything. It is the pattern that is made when collected on a bbt chart. There should be a clear thermal shift at ovulation and the rest of the temps should remain above the line. Everyone's temps are different. Some women 98's as a pre o temp and others as a post o.

What are your temps prior to ov?

A book you may want to get is "Taking Charge of your Fertility" but Toni Weschler. The book tells you about interperting your charts.

A classic ov sign while tempting is a spike the day after you ov.  That is about as clear as it can get. However, others charts can rise a little differently.
