My pre-o temps are usually 97.7 or a few points lower. My temp was up to 98.6 today. I will have to try using fertility friend like Heather5 recommended. Thanks!!!

The day b4 your temp shifts is the day of o. Once that day has passed and you see the thermal shift, it is too late. The difference between your pre-o and post-o temps is about .5 and that is a good amount. Anything less might be a grey area. Tomorrow's temp will probably be back up to 98.2+. It's not unusual to get an occasional dip, even post o.

If you see a clear shift from lower to higher temps in the middle of your cycle, then yes, you're ovulating. As for the 98 you got this morning, it doesn't necessarily mean anything. It's still higher than your early cycle temps and it's also not abnormal to have some random high and lows throughout your cycle. It's the trend you're looking for.

Are you using fertility friend? If not, I highly recommend that as they will help you find your coverline and ovulation day for you.

Best of luck!

Hi, I have charted many times before. I usually stay right around 97.7 then around the 18th or 19th day of my cycle it usually goes up to around 98.2- 98.4 and stays up until the day I start my cycle again. Does it mean you are ovulating when your temps are up or not all the time ??  I am seeing a holistic dr. right now(tried everything else) and I will get my results  for a hormonal (saliva) test in may.  Thanks

Are you able to post a link to your chart? Also, an occasion dip is not uncommon. It's the overall picture that tells the story. 90's sound post-o, but every woman is different. Do I remember you saying this is your 1st cycle temping?
