bbt and trigger shot

I did the trigger shot Thursday at 5 and I had to do it myself, so I'm trying to double check to make sure I did it right and actually ovulated.  I did the OPKs afterwards and got a positive late Friday.  I wasn't charting but started taking my temp and it was
96.5 Friday
96.1 Saturday
97.1 Sunday
97.7 Monday

Is bbt accurate with the trigger? And if so, when can I say I ovulated?  Saturday???

i did not notice any side effects from any of my meds including the hcg shot.

The bbt jumped again, is this a good sign?

i bd wed, thurs, fri, sat, and i used opk which went positive late friday and i did bbt starting friday b/c i was worried i didn't do the trigger right b/c i had never done it myself before

After the hcg shot it takes 24-36 hr for ovulation to occur.If you had your shot on thursday you should bd the same day as the shot( just in case so you have some sperm inside if ovulation happens) and 2-3 days after that.Instead of using the chart next time just buy some opt and it shows the days when you ovulate. i covered my bases so to speak, but i was worried that sat. night was too late, if it was sat. morning.   ok, well, i am going to keep temping to see if they stay high! thanks for answering!

Both could get you pregnant, since the sperm can live in your reproductive tract for several days, and the egg is alive for 12-24 hours after released :-) Although, ideally you should BD before ovulation.

ok, next question! does that mean bd friday night or saturday night?

Well, considering your temp went up a whole degree between Saturday and Sunday, I would think you ovulated Saturday.

My guess would be Saturday, but it's a bit hard to say without seeing the rest of your chart. Are you using fertilityfreind? If so, you could post a link to it here :-)
