Actually, it's for levels of 4-5 weeks. Not 1-2. Day 1 of "being pregnant" would be the first day of your period...and you add from there. But, it sounds like you m/c'd and ovulated, and may have gotten pregnant during this time. So it's hard to know how far along you would be. That's why you need that 2nd bloodraw to serif your levels are rising.
At 5-6 weeks you can see a sac and fetal pole, at around 7 weeks a heartbeat.
Hang In there!! You just need more information.
Those levels are more consistent with a 1-2 wk pregnancy rather than a 6 wk pregnancy, and low progesterone levels (<20) are associated with a high risk of miscarriage. At 4-6 wks you should be able to see a sac and fetal pole in the uterus.
If you are 6 wks pregnant then it is likely given these results that pregnancy is not progressing normally and you will go on to have a miscarriage. But, if you are only a few weeks pregnant, everything could be progressing normally for an early pregnancy.
Normally bhcg doubles every 2 days in early pregnancy, so the easiest way to check what is happening is have another blood test in 2 days to check your bhcg. If that's rising normally, then get another ultrasound in a week.
I'm really wishing you some good luck...
Yeah my levels were around that at 30 days into my cycle
I agree, you cannot be sure you are 6 weeks, have your doctor repeat your blood test in 48 hours, to make sure your levels are going up
Good luck!!!
There is a possibility you are not 6 weeks along since hcg of 151 could be at different stages in pregnancy. So it is quite possible that the baby is still very very tiny and not being picked up on ultrasound. I was 8 weeks pregnant and they could barely see my now 2 yr old. Good luck!!
