hope somebody can help keep my spirits up i have got friendly with a girl from the same clinic we both had egg retrival on wed 27th /5 and transferred back on the 30/5 she had 3 i had 4  she has told me today that she has tested with a hp and has got a bfp armed with this info i tested and got a bfn now im feeling realy down i know its early to test but i dont understand how she has a bfp hoping im still in the running

well thats game over for me
started wiping dark brown spots when i visited the toilet yesterday today very bad aches in stomach and back now turning to red when i wipe 10 days after transfer realy hoped this was going to turn into a good month
oh well

Hi there, I am just new here but wanted to reply to your question. I really wouldn't worry too much that your friend got a bfp, every woman is different and her hcg levels are different and the way her body reacts to pregnancy is different too - no two women ever work in the same way, I would say you are definitely still in the running! Try to keep positive. What is your official test date from your clinic??? You are only 8 days past transfer at the moment hun so it really is way too early to get a reliable result. They do tell you to wait til atleast 14/15 days past transfer to test. They strongly advise against testing early (though I know it's hard!) due to the HCG injections given to ripen the eggs can still leave HCG in your system leading to a false positive result . Also some clinics give HCG after ET to produce progesterone so this can lead to a false positive too.

Hope this helps and remember it's way to early yet for a reliable result, so hang in there and I wish you loads of luck and hope you get your bfp!!!
