ivf and accupuncture

Hello Ladies,      
i've not been here for a while but pls pls help with my question. I'm about to commence my ivf treatment and i need your support. I heard that accupuncture can help increase the success rate of ivf. I will like to use accupuncture in conjunction with my ivf treatment but i'm confuse i don't know when to start. any personal experince ? pls share,

I have been getting acupuncture with IVF too. Both of my Drs work together frequently. Acupuncture promotes blood flow. So far so good. I went a couple of time while folicles were growing, the day before transfer, and the day after. Now I'm going every 3 days or so.
I have a friend on her third transfer. She is 12 wks w triplettes. She. Said acupunture was one of the things she did differently this time.

I did IVF and acupuncture together and I must say it is much better with acupuncture than without. You are so relaxed, there is no pain, you almost feel like there isn't a care in the world.

I did it two weeks before IVF, 1 hour before IVF and for 45 min after IVF, I then went back on day 5. They also set me up with an infertility nutritionist.

It is well worth it, I am not certain if it took though, I take my test next Wed.

babycome: I haven't done IVF but I did do acupuncture with my IUI cycles. I would go the week before I would O and then continued once a week until my beta. I'm pretty sure they say the day of the IVF they like to do acupuncture before and after it that day... I know it really helps with the blood flow and thicken the lining.... I did get a BFP while on it, but sadly ended in an early m/c.  If you have any questions, feel free to PM me anytime :)
