can there be a negative test than an accurate one

It is day 10 now after my egg transfer,I did a test to get a negative.My chinese(accupunture) doctor who can feel a babies heart beat through your pulse said she can still feel one even if not hugely strong.should I listen to her and could a test be positive tomorrow

I had a 5 day transfer and did a test one week after the transfer and the day after, it was positive.  I thought it had to be wrong because I still had HCG in my system, well turns out I was wrong, I was pregnant.  I used First Response.

Was it a 3-day or 5-day transfer? And what brand of test did you use?
