hcg levels are still at 9. is this bad?
I have also had two 'chemical pregnancies'. But as far as I am concerned, it is a nice way of saying an early m/c. I had all the symptoms - sore boobs, nausea, peeing all the time.... Our first time (Nov. 07), beta was 5 to 15 to 2; our second time (Apr. 08) beta was 3 to 9 stayed at 9 then down to 4 (and still waiting for AF to show up). We will be doing further testing for multiple losses - ER wants to make sure I don't have a blood clotting disorder, that DH are compatible, and to check for chromosone abnormalities.
Last weekend I took a HPT and it was +. Later that afternoon it was - and so were the next 3.
Had my beta done it was 11, they wouldn't confirm pregnancy. Two days later it went down to 3 then next day 2. I'm not sure if its a chemical pregnancy or not, but as far as I'm concerned I m/c because even though they were just cells it was still my baby in there. I had all the symptoms: night nausea, headaches, BIG appetite, thirsty and peeing all the time, like every 1/2 hour. I had all the same symptoms as when I was prego with our son.
I hop your go way way UP!!! So baby dust to you and good luck!!
question my obgyn did a blood test the hcg were at 9. im thinking im 2weeks at most. would this be considered a chemical pregnancy if my #s go down?
okay thank you.i understand now!
A chemical pregnancy is a pregancy that ends before it is ever detected by any means other than a test for the chemical Hcg. It is usually due to genetic problems where the embryo could not develop and the body rejects it.
