clueless????

My boyfriend and I are trying to get pregnet, we haven't been trying very hard, hoping to get pregnet when the time is right. I was supost to start my peroid on the 17th of April but started what I believe is my peroid on the 15th. It only lasted for 4 days, it didn't seem like my normal peroid, I took a pregnacy test on the 15th and it came back negittive. Should I take another test? Could I be pregnet? Do you think I took the test too early? I'm not sure about anything I have never been pregnet before and not sure what all to look for or what to expect. Please help!!!!

Thank you for answering my question, sorry its taken awhile to get back to you. I look a home pregnecy test again about a week or so ago and it came back again negitive, I feel that we aren't pregnet yet but really want to be so we are going to contine trying. A friend of mine told me that I should be taking prenatal vitimins while I'm ttrying to get pregnet. Is this true, if so what kind would you recomend I get? I've also seem vitimans that say they will help you at getting pregnet. Is there such a thing or no? Thank you again, I hope to hear back from you agin on these other questions I have.

Hi there,
If you have not been using any contraception and have missed your periods there are chances of pregnancy. It is possible that this bleeding was implantation bleeding. When spotting occurs just before periods it is more likely that it is an implantation bleeding rather than a menstrual period. In implantation bleeding there is less bleeding and there is pink or brownish discharge rather than a blood flow. In a period cramping and backache is common. A period lasts for 4-5 days, may involve clots and cramping and there may be an increase in volume before it reduces and stops altogether. If you are doubtful it is suggested to take up blood hcg test .It is more specific and reliable test for diagnosing pregnancy. Depending on the test results consult a gynecologist. Do keep me posted with more queries.
Best luck and regards!
