cramping???? is it normal??

Question

This is my first IVF cycle, my ET was on 10/5/11.  I had severe cramps day one and two after the transfer, and since have had on and off cramping.  I am going in for my preg test on Monday the 17, but my cycle would normally start that date as well.  I'm getting really worried that I may be starting rather than cramping do to the IVF.  Anyone out there going through the same thing.

That is amazing news for you and your family CONGRATS on the twins.  It comforts me to hear that you have gone through some of these symptoms and have had a successful expierence.  Good luck through the labor and delivery.  Thanks for helping put me at ease.....

thank you so much for those postitive words.  I had some weird pains last night that were like shooting pains to my chest.  I think that I may have had heartburn.  I'm on a low sodium and low potassuim diet per my doc.  Yesterday I had corn for dinnner which is a little high in sodium.  My back has been tight since the ET date, like I've done a million back workouts.  I will keep you in my thoughts and wish you the best of luck.  I will def be thinking of you and sending positive thoughts your way on the 19th.  Keep me posted on how things are going and i will def do the same!!!

well then we both had our ET same date/day, am also in 2ww, my test is on the 19th though, i feel slight cramps but this is not always, some pack pains also, you knw wht lets stay positive ok? God is sure in control, His words say HE NEVER FAILS, HE SAID WE SHD ASK AND IT SHALL BE GIVEN UNTO US, so lets have faith together ok? just update me and i will do vice versa ok? SUCCESS EVER

This may be the sign you are looking for.  I had cramping & lots of back pain after my transfer & I also had my BFP.
I am due anyday with TWIN BOYS!!!   Good Luck to you!!

I've had cramping every time I've gotten pregnant, including after my IVF. So that's not necessarily a bad sign. Best of luck with everything! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
