Can a positive blood pregnancy test be wrong?

I had posted before that i had tested with hpt 3 times and got all of them positive then the next day i got a negative. the next day i went to get a blood test done and told me it came out positive but since i went to different doctor they couldnt say anything more just that it was a POSITIVE then when i went to my regular doc they did another urine test came out negative so he ordered a blood test again even when i told him the other doc had said it came positive. Do you all think its gonna come out positive??? or could a blood test be wrong sometimes??? As far as i know they are 2 different kind of blood test one detects when hcg is present and simply get a yes or no weather they are pregg. and the other blood test detect the levels of the hcg. THE ONE THEY DID TO ME AT 1ST WAS THE ONE THAT SAID A YES OR NO! I GOT A YES!!! NOW THEY DID THE ONE THAT DETECTS THE HOW MANY LEVELS ARE PRESENT! IM SCARED WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK HAS ANYONE HAD THIS IM SUPER CONFUSED!!

From what I understand, the urine test given by doctors' offices pick up higher level of hcg than the hpts - in other words, the hpts tend to be more accurate.  I would personally go by the blood test but I'm curious what the levels are.

I've never had it happen to me... But I really doubt a bloodtest can be false! Maybe your urine wasn't concentrated enough so it couldn't detect the hormone??

I wish you the best of luck!
