hormone levels

I have low estrogen levels (102 and they said it should be around 150) and low progesterone levels (11? and they said it should be 15).  During these results I was on folistim and then also progesterone pills.  I had polyps removed 5 months ago and was told I had polypoid endometrium.  Can't find anything on that topic though.  What does this mean for my body in general as far as mood/health is concerned and how is my infertility directly related?  Been TTC for 3 years...I'm wondering how long my body has been hormonally imbalanced.

ok I found some stuff. It is basically a cancer malignant or not of the endometrium. Mainly older woman get it and or woman in perimenopausal state. It said that woman with hypertension, obese or familt history's of cancer are more likey to get it.
called Endometrial atypical polypoid adenomyoma ( Atypical polypoid adenomyoma of the endometrium)

It is assotiated with age and more likey to develope cancer. Did the report say it was cancerous? How old are you? It also said that woman with higher estrogens had this more, which you do not. Did you ever take birth control pills? My sister had problems with her estrogen and progesterone levels after she took birth control. It really messes up your system. Please bear in mind I am NOT a dr and only telling you what I read from an article of the net. I do not know what all pertains to you if any! Since you do not have higher strogen is probble why it was not cancerous. But it did say it was like blood vessels all over the polyps and it takes away the proper blood flow to the uterus. So I would say that is why you never got pregnant before and once they get you staighened out you hopefully won't have any problems. It has only been 5 months since they removed them. Also one thing the article said was it can cause annovi;ation, so they put woman on Clomid to ovulate. Maybe that is what you need. Then you canhave twins!!!hehehehe If that would not greak you out:) I always think of twins when I here Clomid. But that is more likey in older woman as their eggs are more fragile and easily seperate. So I hope this has help ya. I would talk with your dr about it as to waht the polyps meant and how they will effect you, did and future. best of luck to you!

Well my rpegesterone was 6.4 so yours is low but ok. Yeah 15 is better. But they should have you on prgesterone suppositories! They are better and go staight to the area needed instead of having to go through your system then to you  uterus. I have heard alot of RE's who use the suppositories and say they are better. Messier but better. I haven't had to much problems with them. Now for you estridol levels what day were they taken? here is a link to a levels graph that might give you alot of info.

Also are you seeing a RE or plain GYN? 3 years is a long time! What kind of tests have they been doing, or have done? One thing you need to do is start charting your basal body temperature. Look up fertility friend and it has great info and a course you take for free. THey send you each course by email. You can learn alot about your problems and body by doing this yourself. THen also take OPK tests. You can tell if you have a LH surge but it will not tell you if you ovulate for sure. Your temps will go up and stay up once you have ovulated and that is how you will know.

Never heard of the polypoid though. I will try to find something on that and let you know.

Do not get discouraged! BY teaching yourself everything you can you will know how to present things to your dr and encourage him in the direction you need to go. Best of Luck
