hpt after 8 days

I had my FET done 8 days ago and have since done 3 hpt all negative. Today day 8 I got a positive. Can this really be a good sign or is the progesterone and estrogen causing the positive result. Is it to soon? I did not have an Hcg shot since this was a frozen cycle. We were not able to transfer any the first time with our fresh cycle cause I hyperstimulated and ended up in the hospital, day of transfer. Please let me know if anyone has had a positive hpt after 8 days and was actually pregnant.

thank you

Jenny5 is right - neither progesterone nor estrogen cause a pregnancy nor hcg to produce - the embryo does.  Since you didn't take the hcg trigger, I too say 'congratulations' - you're pregnant! - jen

A positive is positive.Congrats.You are pregnant. I had my FET this may and the day before the beta i tested and it was negative but the beta was 86.
Happy 9  months.A positive is positive and neither the progesterone nor estrogen can cause a positive test. Congrats

No it is not too soon. A positive is a positive. Congrats. After my FET I didn't get a positive HPT till about 11 days b/c I had a late implanter. My bloodwork was positive after 8 days so I think its a great sign that you already got a positive on a HPT. When is your beta?
