thank u so much for ur opinions. i have to call the office today and i think i will do as lovingld did and ask for who is in charge of that office. i usually don't nit pick at much of anything however, the fact that they didn't consult me on anything before ordering meds is so unprofessional to me. i'm sure they have to realize not everybody walks into this with knowledge of everything that's to come..i try to google and ask everything i can so i do have some knowledge, but i would like to count on the professionals to help me with questions as well. i really appreciate that u took the time to answer my dilema! thanks again ladies ur all the best!!!!
I think you are fully within your rights to complain! they aren't treating you with the respect you deserve, nor are they acting professional. These are stressful times for us here and it doesn't help the situation if your nurses and clinic is treating you like dirt. You should ask to speak to whoever is over thee clinic and explain the situation and ask that they do something to rectify the situation without specifically referring to you. Requesting a new nurse won't always fix it if the new nurse is a friend of the first nurse. My clinic did that to me and I went to the head and she ended up firing 3 nurses because turns out,i was one of about 10 women to complain about the same thing. So you never know who else may be getting treated the same way. I hope you can get it all taken care of. I'm sorry you have to deal with things like that.
I don't think you're overreacting at all. Your clinic sounds exactly like my clinic and mine drives me crazy! The whole experience made me realize that I have to be so on top of EVERYTHING or else things will slip through the cracks. After one cycle with my clinic, I asked for a new nurse and it helped a little. You could ask for a new nurse if you think she's the main problem. (By the way, does your clinic start with a "C?" It really sounds like my clinic..
i dont think your over reacting at all i think it was a little rude yur paying them for the treatment so they should put a little more effort in explaining things to you. i would most certainly give them a call and ask if they could start verifiying info.
It is frustrating. I was assigned one nurse and that helped- maybe you can try to find one nurse to work with. I also explained to her that I have never done anything with a RE- so I apologized but she was going to have to explain things to me and give me a little more info as we proceeded. There are so many women that do this over and over, that know the process, that know the meds, the lingo, I think the nurses forget there are women that have never done this before!! It is annoying to not get a response- maybe you can ask the nurses how they prefer to be communicated with- maybe you can get an email of one of the nurses. Hang in there.
