low amh level & chances w/IVF

This is my first time ever posting...or joining anywhere for that matter. I was told today that my AMH level is .03, yet we were encouraged to try at least one round of IVF before donor eggs were discussed. I would love to hear any similar scenarios (good or bad) just to know what to expect. I thought I had done ample reading and was well informed about the process, but after today I feel like I have been thrown in the deep end and very overwhelmed. Any clarity of what I am about to take on would help...

My partner of four years just found out that her amh is.4 and is worried that she won't be able to fall pregnant. When I asked dr what was our best option he suggested donor eggs. Any advise would be great.
Cheers

You might look into taking DHEA.  I have read conflicting things online, but I'm trying it.  I'm 38 and AMH less than .01.  I was devastated when I found out it was so low, but we are trying IVF.
