no fertilization

We did our third ivf cycle in dec.   Our first two were cancelled due to poor response.  They got 7 eggs this time 4 were mature.  we did icsi. none of the four eggs fertilized.  I don't know what to do now.  She said we could do ivf again (not highly recommened), use donor eggs, sperm or embryo donation.  my husband is not for donation at all he says we are to young ( both26 ).  He wants to try ivf again. we are paying for this completly on our own.   Any advise would be great.

Dear Danielle,
I am nearly 39 years old, had serious health problems in the past that could harm my fertility and I can still produce 1-2 eggs that fertilise.
I agree with your husband that you are both too young to consider these options, which should be your last options.
I suggest you go to a different centre, choose the best one in your area even if it will cost more but I am sure it is going to be worth it. I believe you have years of fertility in front of you unless you have other health issues not mentioned here.
Take care

What meds were you taking? Did you take BCP and Lupron before the stimulation? I had better results when my RE changed meds and lower some doses. After three ivf I am still not pregnant but I responded really good during the third ivf. I had 13 eggs retrieved (12 were matured) and 11 fertilised. I am going through the frozen cycle now (I have four frozen embies left from previous ivf from October). If this time will not work my RE is considering  using egg donor next time.I am hesitating, however the time is running out - I am 38 1/2. If I would be 26 I would wait to use a donor.

i did lupron for the first 3 days of my cycle.  The doctor said in big doses and short frequences it acts as a stimulant. I did help i had much better response this time.  I was also on gonal f and menapur.  i stimmed for like 11 days before even getting to retrevial.  she said part of it could be that i might be getting ready for early menopose. (Poss early 30's) due to my poor response and low follicle numbers. Can you even carry a pregnancy if you are in menopose.  i really want to use donor.  i'm ready to find something that works and go full steam ahead.  I do understand my husbands side though too.  I'm willing to try ivf icsi again but i told him that if there were no fertilization again we would have to use donor.  no just trying to pay off this ivf loan so that we can take out another one.

ladies i'm so discouraged. I still don't know what to do.  Have any of you have a cycle with no fertilization and go on to have another successful cycle?

I am sorry this is happening to you & I would highly recommend a 2nd opinion.
You will be a mom no matter how the baby comes to you.
