this is my first round of clomid and im in my 2ww.
i ovulated 2 days earlier than usual with clomid. and i got +opks and were accurate with me
good luck!!
i never once received a positive result while taking clomid...the only thing i can tell u you should know is...it made me crazy. lol...seriously...my emotions were so out of whack. and it made me feel so depressed. clomid was very tough for me. the hot flashes were awful also. it was worse at night...i would wake up sweating bullets. i hope you are a lucky one and experience none of these...it effects everyone differently.
the 1st month or 2 i didnt notice anything except extreme hot flashes. by month 3 is when all of the awful mood changes kicked in.
wishing you the best of luck.
you may be feeling bad cramping due to ovulation. its possible you have alot of follies or maybe some very mature one or ones.
clomid kept giving me cysts...so i felt alot of cramping due to that! make sure your getting monitored by ultrasounds
I will say that i have never felt such discomfort with ovulation. I had mild cramping this morning, before the IUI, and in the afternoon it increased. I feel ok until I try to get up! or god forbid sneeze! :-) I guess that is a small price to pay if this works... I know clomid can cause dizziness and hot flashes, but I didnt get any of that.
Thanks!
Anything else I should know about clomid???
I used clomid for the first time this month and on cd14 got a +opk after 3 days of -opk. and it was Obviously positve which was good to see as I was second guessing myself with every test! Going for my IUI in a couple hours... I usually o on cd12-13 so the clomid did push my o day back a few days. Good Luck!
They do work my suggestion would be to buy the 20 day kit instead of the seven day kit because the 20 day one is only a few dollars more and when I buy the 7 day one I end up buying at least 2. Also if your watching your CM for signs sometimes Clomid can dry it up so it's hard to use that as an indicator.
Yes they still work however you need to wait to start testing with them. If you test too soon you often get a false positive OPK.
Yes, for many women it does cause a later ovulation.
