please read

okay so here is the question.  I have been charting my temps for a month now. my coverline temp is 97.6  well the day after ovuation i went up to 97.9 and stayed there until day 6 and went up to 98.2 well today i went down to 97.6 on day 7 .  I am also on progesterone.  I started taking them 2 days after ovulation as instructed.  can i get a implantation dip on progesterone.  and also do these temps look promising.  Do you believe in implantation dips.  i have read some that says every woman gets a dip but due to lh surge.  what do you think.

That worked :-) Your chart is looking really good! Nice dip, too...I hope it's an implantation dip! Good luck this cycle!

Hi again, Timika!

I'm a bit confused...your chart shows that you're only on cycle day 10, and I don't see any dips. Could this be the wrong chart?

I agree with Tina...they do occur, but a dip doesn't always mean implantation. I usually have one every month without being pregnant. And the month I did get pregnant, I did not have a dip (ended in a miscarriage, though). Go figure...

Best of luck to you! I hope you'll get your BFP next week!!!

Implantation dips definitely occur. However, they are only useful in hindsight. There are millions of charts that have the ponderous dip 6-12dpo and turn out to be nothing more than a dip. There shouldn't be a dip from Lh. It is more likely a dip due to the small amts of estrogren that the corpus luteum produces in addition to the large amts of progesterone that makes the temps rise.

I hope it is indeed an implantation dip. But, you won't know for sure for a few more days. Good luck!!
