I forgot to mention that I did have mild OHSS.  The major symptome were that I was a solid 5lbs heavier for about a week or so and I had sharp pains in my ovaries.  Also I was very bloated.  It was well worth it though.  At my first u/s at 5w4d the dr said my ovaries still look a little big but they are getting back to normal.  I still notice at the end of the day when I am all curled up on the couch relaxing I get sharp pains in that area if I get up too quickly.

Anything else you would have wanted to know before you started this process?: PCOS Patient.  I lost over 87 pounds before attempting this ivf cycle.  Other two cycles resulted in pregnancies with immediate miscarriages.

Anything else you would have wanted to know before you started this process?: I would have liked to understand OHSS better and the effects of the stims on my uterine lining. If I had all that knowledge, I probably wouldn't have transferred the babies and would have delayed it until I was healthier.

Any side effects/issues with meds: Had a huge cyst develop on ovary from lupron.  Had to wait an extra two weeks to start IVF until it went away.

Anything else you would have wanted to know before you started this process.  It's a tough process and I tend to analyze every little symptom.  Worrying does not help the tww go faster. If you, just relax and stay positive!

Actually, I'm kinda glad I was ignorant.  We were so busy during that time moving children around from college to college that I got caught up in that and I didn't have too much time to dwell on the whole process which was probably good.  I got a dog too that kept me busy.
