If you ovulate on your own your ob may ask you to start on day 3 but if you are taking clomid because you do not ovulate on your own you may start around day 5.

Most women start on either day 3 or 5, depending on what their doctor prefers....but I'm a little confused...your doctor didn't direct you on when to start?
