dont give up yet idid the same thing you did got HPT negative on day 7 after my transfer which i already gave up and when i went for blood test on day 12 it was positive
ood luck i thought the same thing you do negative is negative but its not my prayers is with you good lusk
I realy had no signs before my test. I was tired alot, but I now know that was from the Progesterone, because I was tired again this time and got a BFN. I can't quite remember my levels, but I know it was real low, because we were on pins and needles until we saw those numbers doubling. I had a 5 day Blast Transfer and blood tested 8 days after. It's ok, to ask questions, that's why we are all here. To help eachother. I know a girl who's sis did IVF and did a HPT the day before her blood test. It was BFN. But then she went the next day and had her blood test and it came back BFP. So, you realy can't go by what the home test shows. I know it's hard, but it is realy best to wait for your BETA.
So sorry about bfn :( However, even if you had a day 5 transfer testing 7 days after that may be too early.
I agree with you that your beta is scheduled kind of late. Mine was 2 weeks after retrieval, not transfer. If I were you I would POAS at 14 dp retrieval.
Good luck!!!
Thank you so so much, Your experience make me feel a lot better. I will try to keep hope up.But I am preparing myself for the No. My husband and I have been trying for 5 years. I have experience so many BFN. and I have cried so much. So this is a way to deal with it now. Did you have any sign before the blood test? What was the HSG level when you first tested your blood? How many days post the transfer? Sorry for the many questions.I really need help.
Your levels may not be high enough yet. I know I was PG after my 1st IVF cycle. They did the blood test it was positive. I thought it would be great to see that on the stick so I did a HPT and it was Negative. But then a week later got my BFP on a stick. So, just because the stick says neg does not mean it is neg. All the AF signs can also be PG signs or can be caused by the progesterone. We have to trust in our Drs and that they know what they are doing. I have even heard of girls going to the ER early for a test and it came back Neg then when the actual test date came it was Pos. So, please hang in there.
