Please help! TTC & losing my mind.

Hello ladies,

Just made this account about 5 minutes ago; really hoping to find some answers or direction. My husband and I want a baby like yesterday! But I am not ovulating and I don't understand. I feel frustrated and discouraged. A little background: I am 22, 5'8", 105lbs (I know some forums ask you that). I was on the pill for 7 years, and just went off it in May 2013. Since then, I have had a 52 and 81 day cycle- unfortunately I didn't know about charting until after those cycles. I read Taking Charge of Your Fertility and have been charting BBT, CF, and CP every day this cycle. I am currently on day 50 and haven't ovulated yet. I have been taking Fertilaid for 2 weeks, but haven't noticed a difference yet. My BBTs are kind of low- varying from 96.3-96.5 F on average.

So finally- why the heck aren't I ovulating?! I'm so ready to lose my mind. Please- any insight would be fabulous!!!!

I was going to say you seem to be underweight, have your thyroid check, that can cause issues, but easily fixed too. Acupuncture seems to have a ton of benefits. Never tried it but have read tons of post about how it helps with stress and infertility. Good luck and prayers coming your way

I second that!  But I think I read in Taking Charge of Your Fertility that being underweight can cause anovulatory cycles...of course I'm not calling you underweight, but 105 is NOT a lot of weight for a 5.8" tall woman, so you might ask your GYN about that.  Just a thought.  Best of luck---I'm sure the news will be good!

I haven't gone since September. They told me since I was coming off the pill that it was normal. But it's been an additional 2 months. I am gonna call them in the morning on Monday. Thank you!

Have you been to your gyn? Perhaps it is time for a visit? I am not a doctor but two-three months between periods for a woman your age is not typical....good luck to you
