Thank you so much for this! I just saw my Dr. this morning and brought all of this to her attention and we are going to do blood work and more tests to make sure it is none of these issues.
Candida infections are HARD to eradicate.
From their onset (could be unsymptomatic for a long time), figure about a month of comprehensive anti-candida regimen per year of candida infection
minimum.
So to be safe, 12 months should be your target for the duration of the treatment.
You can self-test frequently. Just do a search on YouTube for "Saliva test for Candida". Fast and easy to do.
I recommend plenty of coconut oil (up to 7T daily is therapeutic dose)
but build up gradually starting with 1T the first week.
It is a great antifungal plus it is antimicrobial, antiparasitic and antiviral.
Any sugars in any form including carbohydrates from grains, alcohol, fruit etc. are forbidden as they are the main energy source of fungal organisms.
Dr. Coca's pulse test is a free download.
One of the common cross reactive foods after dairy is eggs and the pulse test will most likely help you determine this and any other allergy/sensitivity/intolerance to anything you ingest and your body treats as offensive.
Note: when testing for cortisol, "established" testing is for serum levels, which is the TOTAL cortisol (sum of bound and unbound cortisol) which may not reflect a deficiency!!
Only a saliva test-taken at various times of the day and repeated often- will reflect accurately your cortisol status.
Remember from my previous post:"Cortisol regulates the immune cells in our gut so when cortisol is depleted those cells become dysregulated, making us more susceptible to pathogens like bacteria, yeast, and parasites."
Endocrinology recognizes adrenal deficiencies only at stage 4- adrenal crisis- like only when the roast is burnt in the oven, lol!
Everything points to impaired adrenal and thyroid function along with yeast
imbalance all of which if left untreated for long, affect entire body systems and organs leading to serious chronic conditions.
These need to be either treated properly or ruled out.
If you need more details let me know.

Hi Niko,
Thank you so much for your answers! I am going to ask my Dr. about all of these on Thursday. I have had my adrenal glands checked and I was told they look good. I will take a look into these other ones you mentioned though. I have wondered about any other foods possibly bothering me. The only one I can think of might be eggs. I don't eat any Wheat, gluten, soy, corn, sugar, or dairy. I am on a very restrictive diet and sometimes it makes me laugh to think I could even cut more out! But I just want to be healthy so whatever it takes!
What exactly is the pulse test?
Also I do get frequent yeast infections and uti's are every once in a while. I have just recently eliminated all fruits and honey from my diet which has helped with symptoms. I also did a Candida cleanse about a month ago but it's been three weeks since the cleanse and the yeast is back.
What are the symptoms of Fibromyalgia? How do you get tested for it?
Hi lilsweetie.
I just lost my entire reply to you! lol!
OK. You need to do the following through your Naturopath:
(disregard the ones already done)
1. Adrenal stress profile
I would also recommend you look into the "GI Pathogen Screen", especially if your cortisol levels come back low (which won't surprise me)
Cortisol regulates the immune cells in our gut so when cortisol is depleted those cells become dysregulated, making us more susceptible to pathogens like bacteria, yeast, and parasites.
2. Free T3, Free T4 and reverse T3 (they indicate actual cellular thyroid function) Endocrinologists don't consider this "established" procedure. ???
Note: Adrenal imbalances must be addressed first, before thyroid function can be restored. This may take from a few months to a couple of years!
3. Rule out candida, underlying pathogenic infectious conditions like
babesia, mycoplasma, borellia, bartonella, ehrlichia.(These are very difficult to detect-search for Dr. Garth Nicolson, part time expert on MedHelp and the world's leading doctor in this fileld)
4. Multiple Autoimmune Reactivity Screen
5. PEG test (PolyethelyneGlycol test) for leaky gut.
6. On your own you may want to do Dr. Coca's Pulse test, a free download
Within a week you will know if you are reactive to other food or drink
( possibility of cross reactivity). This is critical, specially when the reaction is delayed, as it is very difficult to link to the offensive substance.
Message me if you need any details.

P.S. I am also on a gluten-free diet, self-imposed. I don't know if I have Celiac - haven't been tested - but I feel much better since I quit eating breads/grains and limit myself to a corn tortilla once in a while.
I take Magnesium Glyconate for my pain along with Essiac (a cancer treatment). Essiac has been my best friend since getting diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. It takes more than the edge off of my pain and I can function as long as I remember to take it everyday.
Hope this is helpful to you.
Wishing you the best .
Its possible you can have multiple illnesses. I have Hashimotos Disease and am taking levothyroxine. It has helped a lot. However, I also have Fibromyalgia so I still get some fatigue and pain daily. I notice my pain is a little agitated by caffeine and stress.
