CFS and Bariatric Surgery

Hi, I'm new here and I have a question; Is Bariatric Surgery safe for patients with CFS? I have searched everywhere and have had no luck. I just wonder because of the dichotomy between the sensitivity of the disease and the radical nature of the surgery. Thank you!

I know when I had sinus surgery, it took me longer to recover than the average patient. I believe it was due to my CFS (undiagnosed at the time). I honestly hope that I will never need surgery again.

Hello, my mom has fibro and she just had a lap band put in 8 weeks ago. I don't think there has been too much problems for her. Just took her longer to 'recover' because of how exhausted she is all the time anyway!
