Fibro and fainting?

Has anyone ever passed out from fibro or something related to it? I've been having a flare of my symptoms, and Monday at work I stood up from my chair, took a step, and completely blacked out. No warning at all. On my way of falling to the floor, I smashed my forehead on a desk, my chin on the desk, the back of my head on another desk, then a cubicle wall, then smashed my back into the edge of a desk, finally smashing the back of my head again on the wheel of a chair. Needless to say, I don't remember ten minutes before the event at all. All my tests in the ER came back normal. I usually feel some kind of warning before I pass out, but this time I had nothing. Could it be related?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there,
In fibromyalgia there is widespread pain and tenderness. In patients with fibromyalgia there can be a dysfunctional and hypersensitive autonomic nervous system which can cause blood pressure fluctuations, drop in blood pressure and fainting. If you are suffering from hypotension drink plenty of water and fluids. Consume more salt in your diet. You may need tests like an electrocardiogram, cardiac stress testing .A detailed clinical examination and work up can be helpful in managing your condition. See a physician and get your doubts clarified. I hope it helps.
Best luck and regards!
