Fibro vs. Bipolar

I have Fibro. since about 2001 but was not determined until 2003? My husband has noticed my mood swings and thinks it is Bipolar. How do I know the difference? I think I have Fibro and some other health problems but I don't think I have Bipolar.

You may also want to google bipolar and read on it and see what you think.  Like kit mentioned bipolar can cause extreme changes in mood like going from severe depression to being manic and awake for days on end.  What makes your husband think you have this?

HaHa!!  Love your 'tags.

FMS can, I believe cause mood changes among many other causes.  What makes you wonder if  you have bipolar?  Does your mood change from manic phase to the darkest mood?  If you Google 'FMS vs.Clinical Depression'.......you will find the difference of the two is dramatic.

Many hugs,
kit

Being moody doesn't necessarily mean you are bipolar.  Women have hormonal changes that make us moody.
