There is a reason why more women than men have these conditions and there is a hormonal component to it. Anyway, mycoplasma can be transmitted via close contact. Women are also passing this to their children.

If you guys would like me to send the links to you, let me know and I will.

I am on a research protocol and there are now more people, including some physicians, who believe that Th1 diseases, including fibromyalgia, are not contagious... but communicable. Transmission of bacteria requires close contact and perhaps this is why we've seen husband and wives come down with the same type of illness ? However, there haven't been any studies yet to prove this theory.
