Is your sense of taste effected?

Does anyone else have problems with their sense of taste b/c of FM?  I am sometimes unable to eat/drink favorites b/c they suddenly taste bad to me?  Most common, my water (filtered) will have a bad taste to it.  This fluctuates; sometimese even the same glass of water will taste bad and an hour later fine... ?

Anyone else?

Something else to check is your prescriptions, if any, and their side affects.

Hey Buffy,
I'm impressed with all the questions you come up with, unfortunately most of them are directly related to your symptoms.
At least they provide the basis for feedback, so, not only you but other members as well, can benefit from some of the answers.
Nutritional Deficiencies like Zinc and Copper deficiencies, Endocrine dysfunction and Fluctuating hormonal levels may contribute to taste changes. Some diseases may affect taste also; i.e. M.S.,Cirrhosis, Sjögren's, Diabetes.
Hope this helps.
