Afraid to talk to the dr, I don't want this!

I'm sure it is in one of these post but I can't read thru them all at the moment.  I googled chronic headaches the other day and fibromyalgia popped up so I checekd it out.  I feel like I have most of the symptoms.  I am achy a lot of the time. A lot in my neck which I attributed to too much time on the computer.  My knees are tender and sore most of the time, I had a wreck 03/10 which damaged the soft tissue in my left knee.  I have headaches almost daily, some are dull ache and some are terrible pain.  I've had headaches like this for years, since I was a teenager, I'm 31 now.  I have noticed lately that I seem to have to take a second to recall things that should come to mind instantly, names of people or objects, or trying to describe something or give direction.  I will say the wrong word a couple times before the right one finally makes it out.  I kid (not that I in any way this it's humerous when some one has this condition) that I have a brain tumor or aneurism because I watch to many of the medical dramas ;) I'm also tired all the time, for no reason.  I'm just tired.  I am a single mom and I do work full time but I don't feel like that's the problem. I also have back pain.  I was told I have degenerative disk disease but I've had this back pain since I was around 13/14 years old.  Some time the back pain is so bad I can't bend over and I can never seem to get comfortable to relieve the pain.  I have taken OTC pain relievers and nothing helps.  I am not a fan of becoming addicted to narcotic pain meds so I don't use those. I was wondering if this is something that you have all your life or does it develop over time?  Also is it a sudden onset of symptoms or can ir be gradual?  Thanks in advance-Shellie

I do not use narcotics any more than absolutely necessary.

For me it came on all at once, but I have heard it both ways.

I was diagnosed 11 years ago,  I currently use a combo of things to control my illness,

Yoga- 30 min 2x a day.  I know it sounds strange but as much as it hurts at the time sometimes, I really know when I skip.

Suppliements- Malic Acid, Magnesium, Raspberry extracts.

Meds- zanaflex (CNS Muscle relaxer) 1-2 a day as needed. Day -pro (NSAID) Ambien (hypnotic as needed) tramadol(for really crappy days)

I hope this helps.
