I read that there was a study done where grey matter reduction was indicated for fibromyalgia patients please laymen's terms please. Someone answered me but it didn't really say anything about it concerning fibro. Does anyone know anything about it?

You do mean Grey Matter in the brain right?  Was something found on an MRI you had done?

I have lesions in brain (white matter) and new one on C - spine.
that is why they are saying to me "probable MS"......While I think my neuro is not well educated on Sarcoid, he says he is not sure if it is neuro sarcoid or MS.....I say perhaps he should read up on it a bit more or to get w/ some other collegues to distinguish between the two.

Not sure if I answered your question, Sorry if I didn't :p
Just wanted to chime in.
Take Care,

I suggest that you go to the link about.com and type in firbromyalgia.  There is a news letter that comes out every Friday afternoon that you can subscribe to.  It has some very interesting information and she also keeps up with the FDA on approving medications.  Fibromyalgia is a complicated sydrome and I suspect is going to be sad as we get older.

I read a report somewhere on this forum about the grey matter that's why I'm asking I know about the pressure points I've been dx for about 3 - 4 yrs yet there are studies being done revealing other problems that fibro and CFS patients are suffering from

As far as I know, fibromyalgia can not be dx by any medical findings other than 11 out of the 18 pressure point pain.
