Hello,
I think we all have a moment in life when we aren't really sure where the urine comes from. You may want to take a look at a picture of the human anatomy of the woman's female sexual parts or ask your mom to show you. You urinate out of an opening right above the opening of your vagina. It's called your Urethra. All of that anatomy is so close together it's quite easy to get confused I am sure you're not the first hun. I hope this helps you.

You may consider reading up on Interstital Cysitis,, a bladder disease commonly linked to Fibro. I causes a variety of issues. For me mostly pain but some have control issues as well.

I was diag with a potassium test and then a scope.

I agree, you definitely need to get to the source of the problem.  I never wet the bed, in spite of some really rough times when I was having some issues with renal failure.  I agree that you could be so heavily sedated that you're unable to respond when your bladder is emptying, but that still shouldn't be happening to you.  The closer I get to middle-age, the more common "normal" bladder leakage occurs when I laugh or sneeze, but it's never the whole bladder going at once, no matter how full the bladder is.  What you're talking about is completely different, and you mentioned blood.  If there is blood, there is definitely something wrong somewhere, so I agree that you need to get a second or even third opinion.  I have experienced heavy sedation and feeling like I could easily lie there and wet myself if I were unaware, so I believe this could possibly happen if I weren't such a light sleeper.  Nevertheless, when you mention blood in the urine and it not being associated with your menstrual cycle, then something has to be wrong.

I agree with VABreeze u should deff have another look at ur MRI...if u do not have the report request it from the facility where the study was done.

U deff need to know where the root of ur issues r.

If you are taking the Trazadone and Vicodin close together, it may be allowing you to sleep through the event because of sedation.

Having pain and blood in your urine is not a good sign and you should get a second opinion quickly or follow-up through an ER.  If you have had bloodwork and nothing is showing up as bacterial then something else is amiss.  Until you find out what is causing the wetting, you could prevent getting soaked by using adult products made for that issue.

When was your last MRI?  Also, if you have migraines you would defenitely know it was one...no questions there.  Most migraines will cause vomiting, heightened pain with sound, light and as if your head is exploding inside.  Quite different than a headache.

The experience of pins and needles is common in MS, as well as with FMS.

I hope you can get some answers to what is causing all of these problems for you and that you are feeling better soon.

Hi...there r other conditions that can cause this type of leakage...what r ur fibro symptoms?

..and of course Platelets suggestion is a worthy one to look into as well.

U may want to do the keigle(sp) exercises too!

Do you think you could have a bladder infection ?

Probably this type of problem is more related to Myofascia Pain Syndrome (MPS) However, I think I would seek the opinion of a urologist if this continues in order to rule out other possibilities. If treatment can eliminate this problem, why put up with it?
