Pasta, especially with tomato sauce and lemonade sound like a GERD problem, especially in excess. Also, a sore throat often accompanies problems with GERD. Left Arm pain is a heart attack/angina symtom, as is breathlessness, but generally it occurs under stress/exercise conditions. I'm also curious about the chest inflammation medication, and what the drug would be. Is it Nitroquick, or Ranexa, or another drug to control angina? Heart problems are generally different from what you have described. I've had surgeries for GERD and also had heart issues and bypass surgery as well as a pacemaker, so I've had experience sorting out what is GERD, and what is angina. It sounds to me like you have GERD issues.
HI...I too am curious as to what meds u were on and how long?...if u modified ur diet and lifestyle to help the meds.
GERD meds do not work right away and can take up to 4 weeks b4 u see improvement...what testing was done to get this DX?

When you say sore throat, do you mean burning inside the back of your throat, or pain in your neck and jaw? GERD can mimic heart attack, but sometimes it actually is your heart.
I'm curious as to what the "chest inflammation" medicine is.
