I know what u mean...I had my heart checked...I was ok with that, but do understand how diff it can be to tell.
Diet can help calm down the acids....I have managed to manipulate how I feel by what and when I eat...I  have dealt with this a lifetime too, so u learn so much just by dealing with it.

I hope u find relief...and a way to reduce ur stress.
Please keep us posted : )

Thank You So Much!   I was just wondering if there was a connection!   I have 6 stents!  I have been told that at least for the Atherosclerosis genetics is a Huge factor even more than things like diet!  I am trying to watch my diet although it is not easy!  I sometimes have trouble telling if I am having Acid Reflux or Heart Issues!

I have both conditions, and while there is no direction condition between the two, both are affected by several common risk factors.  Smoking is a huge factor in both diseases.  Fatty diets contribute negatively, and stress as well.  I have had to have eight heart stents and a pacemaker because I ignored the risk factors, and now have surgery planned to control Barrett's Esophagus.

Hi...diet is responsible in part for both, but acid reflux  will not cause atherosclerosis...low LDL's are the key issue...u need to look at cholesterol levels.
