Digestive

My gallbladder was removed 4 years ago.  Ever since then, my stomach has burned.  I recently had an endoscopy and they found bile in my stomach.  I get up every morning with my stomach burning.  I am taking carafate twice a day. It will be over 3 weeks before I can see my doctor again.  What can I do?

Are you taking anything else besides the carafate.  A PPI?

Have u been tested for H. Pylori?...it is not uncommon for those post op from a Gall bladder surgery to develop this and can be missed the first time u r tested...so push for a test....next, look at the meds u were on, u may need a probiotic to restore the natural balance to ur digestive tract....Talk to ur GI dr.
