Hi...what did ur Dr think it was?
Not having the fundo, I have no idea how that feels...or how u would get with a bug, but as u said there is one going round, and it lasts 24 to 48 hours.
If urs lasts longer then that u may want to revisit ur Dr.
Since there has been a GI bug going around, he felt it was viral and not the flu since the latter is mostly respiratory, not GI. But now I'm very congested with a productive cough and voice loss. Not as achy today but still no appetite.
Will try some toast for a change. Wish this would go away. My co-workers that had this were out for over a week. Can't afford to be sick much longer- have to go to NYC next week! :-)
I pray u feel better soon.
What r u going to NYC for, may I ask?....I love it in NY...,my DD lives up there and I love going to shows.
Hope u feel better and enjoy ur trip : )
I'm going to NYC for an international debate tournament. It's sponsored by NYU and a high powered law firm. This is the 11th year and it's called IPPF.
It started 7 months ago with emailed essays back & forth between close to 400 schools internationally, debating a resolution. The first cut is 32 schools, then 16, then 8. The top 8 get an all expenses paid trip to NYC. My boyfriend is the debate coach for Lakewood HS here in CO and although they've made it to the top 8 for the past 6 years, it's only the last 2 years they have awarded the trip the the top 8 schools. Prior to that it was only the top 4.
It's a huge honor to be selected, now they have to win the face-to-face debate. There's 3 girls going and since the ***'t coach is unable to go since they're having the state debate the same weekend, I'm going to help.
It may never happen again so I intend to have a great time! I can't tell my family since I have every moment booked...I have family in Staten Island and Long island.
I'm feeling a little better but now I have this darn cold. Still achy and no appetite. Stomach is grumbling constantly. Glad it's happening this week and not next!
WOW that is quite an honor....and u all u so lucky to get to go...My DD got her Master's at NYU and lives up there now...she is a teacher for the NYC schools....
I am sure u will enjoy the time u go, stop by Washington Square Park, it is in the heart of NYU's campus and Sesame Street films there often and it is fun to see.
Sending prayers u r feeling well for ur trip : )
