im getting chest pain (age 18). what can it be? chest pain last no longer then 10 seconds

Im 18 , and i get on and off chest pains , ive had it before . but i also have bad headaches on sides of my head .and on some occasions my whole ear will ache..are these connected? what can it be . ive chekd bp lately and it fine 126 over 67 . w/ pulse of 67

Hi and welcome to the GERD forum.

U should deff see a dr as Sassy has suggested.It is not a good think to try and dx urself and expect to feel better.


Since u have had issues with gerd for a while, and ur ear is causing issues in addition to the chest pain u may want to see if u have a sinus issue...draining sinuses can cause gerd/acid reflux.

Keep us posted on ur progress

I pressed send too soon. I would also considered getting checked by chiropractor. I just remembered that I have had similar feelings, and it was my neck being out of alignment that caused the pain. Just an idea, but, it might help.

It could be nothing, however, I think I would see a doctor and tell him about it. You are really young, so, I suspect he will tell you the same thing, but, I would rather be safe than sorry. Blood pressure is good, but, some doctors like it even lower.
