My stomach isn't bubbling, cramping, but my stool is watery.

So, I went to a concert and I was fine until after the concert. So, the next morning I took Zantac because I had a burning feeling in my stomach, and after my stool began to get watery. I thought it would be the stomach bug but I didn't have all the symptoms. I haven't been vomiting, and when I do go to the bathroom I release in short spurts of watery diarrhea. Then other times when I feel the need to go to the bathroom again nothing comes out. I feel better, and then the need to use the restroom comes again. The day after the concert I had the watery stool but not as often, there was long periods of time when I didn't have to go to the bathroom. Now, 7am - 8am its off, and on.

My friend gave me some anti-nausea which is okay since the feeling of vomiting isn't existing at the moment. My sister and mom said that it's probably my body detoxing itself from the things that I've eaten because I'm still on vacation. Should I start the B.R.A.T diet? Would that make my stool more solid? I'm not entirely sure what is wrong with me and its kind of scaring me because I don't have all the signs of the stomach flu. So, could it be my GERD that could be causing this as well because I can feel a burning sensation in my chest as well.

Hi and welcome to the GERD forum.

I would see your Dr if this persists.......you do not want to dehydrate....

For many of us we do have IBS in relation to our GERD/reflux...but not everyone does....it could be something you ate....drank???

Look to what you've been eating, write it all down to see the time line to see if that could have been a trigger for this.....I have issues with changes in temps and weather that can trigger mine......but I have always been like this ...if this is new to you, then again, if it persists see your Dr.
