Hi there,

In my experience belching is a sign of acid reflux.  You should really have a look at your overall diet and avoid all the acid-triggers i.e. fried foods, carbo drinks, coffee, alchohol, chocolates, spicy food, tomatoes, etc.  Eat 5-6 small meals during the day and don't eat anything 3hrs before bedtime.  Don't sleep on your back and elevate the head of your bed.

You can also take Gaviscon 3times a day for a while and see if your symptoms improve.

Have you had some tests to diagnose GERD?  i.e. Endoscopy, PH monitoring?
